Historical memory rarely remains confined within national borders: it forges alliances, shapes the logic of regions, and turns the past into an argument in today’s debates.
Participants will discuss who speaks on behalf of history and what happens when different interpretations of the past clash.
Experts from MGIMO and other Russian research centers have been invited to participate. We will announce their names closer to the event.
